August Recipe Challenge

Phillip could not wait to get Hayden a dirt bike, Hayden was only 3 when her got his for Christmas. LOL Well Hayden had no interest in leaning to ride a bicycle until this past May HAHAHA So now that he had gotten the hand of balancing his ready to hit the dirt bike. Well he had a ton of fun riding it around the yard and out of no where run right into the house LOL And it hit us that Hayden was wearing sandals, short, tank top, and no helmet!!!! So we put the bike away for the day.

Scraplift Wednesday!

Well it's time for Hayden to start 1st grade! :( So I guess is was time for me to start scrapping his Kindergarten photos HAHAHA! Here he is on his first day!

The poem reads:

KINDERGARTEN WONDER

I wonder what you're doing right now

and if everyone is treating you kind.

I hope there is a special person,

a nice friend that you can find.

I wonder if the teacher knows

just how special you are to me.

And if the brightness of your heart

is something she can see.

I wonder if you are thinking about me

and if you need a hug.

I already miss the sound of your voice

and how you give my leg a tug.

I wonder if you could possibly understand

how hard it is for me to let you grow.

On this day know that my heart breaks,

for this is the first step in letting my baby go.

Phillip's Birthday present, a 6x4 Brag Book

Phillip and I always have the hardest time getting gifts for each other, we don't "NEED" anything! LOL So this year for his birthday (Aug 4th and the day before our wedding anniversary) I made him a 6x4 brag book I just did the pages printed them at Costco, glued 2 pictures back to back, punched 2 holes in each page and tied it together with some ribbon.
